Firstly, today we will meet you at your accommodation in Casablanca or at the airport and drive to Chefchaouen. Finally, overnight in an authentic riad in the Medina.

Then, after a couple of hours drive, you will arrive at Volubilis, the well-preserved Roman empire dating back to 225 BC, where you will see the most beautiful mosaics in Morocco dating back to the 3rd century BC. Therefore, here you will take a guided tour of the site and learn a lot about the Roman Empire. Next, we will travel to Meknes, the Ismaili capital of Morocco. Here in Meknes, we see the fascinating Bab Mansour gate built by Sultan My Ismail; the granary and the Sahrij Souani, used for irrigation and planting. After breakfast in your riad, you will start exploring Fes, the "spiritual city of Morocco". Then you will spend the whole morning exploring the Medina and its alleys. The tour begins by visiting most of the sites of cultural and historical interest, including the famous Al Karaouine Mosque and University (the oldest in the world), Madrasa Bouanania. Plus the Tanneries and the Najjarine fountain. Then, after lunch, we will take you out of the Medina to see the Royal Palace gate, pass through the Jewish quarter "the Mellah" and then visit the pottery cooperative. Later in the afternoon, we will take you to one of the fortresses to enjoy an amazing panoramic view of the entire Medina of Fes. Finally, overnight in the same riad.
After breakfast, we will start traveling south towards Merzouga desert via Midelt and Errachidia. Arriving in Merzouga at the end of the day, you will be welcomed with a glass of mint tea and you will ride on your camel to see the sunset in the middle of the highest sand dunes in Morocco and spend the night there. Afterwards, stay overnight in our well-equipped desert camp where you will have dinner.
After breakfast and a hot shower in the desert camp your camel guide can wake you up early in the morning to see the sunrise, it might be the best sunrise of your life. Afterwards, you will peacefully ride camels back to your starting point appreciating the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes, which change with the light as the day progresses. You will meet your driver and set off towards the Tinghir and Todra gorges, the highest and narrowest gorges in Morocco. Here you will have the opportunity to hike along its valley. Then we will drive through the Dades Valley where you will see the majestic sand castles and amazing rock formations known as 'monkey fingers'. Finally, the overnight stay will be in a riad or hotel in the heart of the gorge. (dinner and breakfast).
