Firstly, today we will meet you at your accommodation in Casablanca or at the airport and drive to Chefchaouen. After breakfast in your riad, you will start traveling towards Fes via Ouazzan and the Roman site of Volubilis. Then, after a couple of hours drive, you will arrive at Volubilis, the well-preserved Roman empire dating back to 225 BC, where you will see the most beautiful mosaics in Morocco dating back to the 3rd century BC. Therefore, here you will take a guided tour of the site and learn a lot about the Roman Empire. Next, we will travel to Meknes, the Ismaili capital of Morocco. Here in Meknes, we see the fascinating Bab Mansour gate built by Sultan My Ismail; the granary and the Sahrij Souani, used for irrigation and planting. After breakfast, we will start traveling south towards Merzouga desert via Midelt and Errachidia. After breakfast and a hot shower in the desert camp your camel guide can wake you up early in the morning to see the sunrise, it might be the best sunrise of your life. Afterwards, you will peacefully ride camels back to your starting point appreciating the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes, which change with the light as the day progresses. You will meet your driver and set off towards the Tinghir and Todra gorges, the highest and narrowest gorges in Morocco. Here you will have the opportunity to hike along its valley. Then we will drive through the Dades Valley where you will see the majestic sand castles and amazing rock formations known as 'monkey fingers'.
