Your 3-day excursion from Marrakech to the mesmerizing desert of Merzouga will begin around 07:30 in the morning, departing from your riad or hotel. Our adventure begins with a scenic drive to the famous Kasbah Ait Ben Hadou, taking us through the mesmerizing Tizi Ntichka pass and the majestic High Atlas Mountains. Along the way we will make several stops to savor the breathtaking landscapes. Our first major destination is the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a stunning village that has also served as the backdrop for numerous Hollywood blockbusters. Next, we'll head to Ouarzazate for a leisurely lunch at your own pace. In the afternoon, our journey continues to the oasis of Skoura, celebrated for its impressive Amridil Kasbah, which is a must-see attraction. As we continue, we will pass through the picturesque Rose Valley and the charming village of Kalaa Mgouna. This region of Morocco is renowned for its Damascus rose distilleries and, through your car window, you will be able to glimpse the charming brick-fortified Berber settlements known as Ksours. Our day ends when we reach our hotel located in the picturesque Dades Valley. Relax and treat yourself to a delicious dinner before settling in for a peaceful overnight stay.
After a hearty breakfast, our journey continues as we cross the famous road of 1001 Kasbahs, heading towards picturesque Tinghir. When we arrive at this enchanting oasis, you will have the opportunity to take a pleasant walk along the picturesque banks of the Todgha River. Explore the charming Berber and Ksour villages, immersing yourself in their unique culture. Once you set your sights on the towering cliffs of the Todgha Canyons, you'll realize that your morning adventure was well worth it. Indulge in a delicious Berber lunch at your own pace among the fascinating gorges before resuming our expedition to Merzouga. Once you reach Erg Chebbi, the road ends and it's time to meet your camel caravan. Embark on a camel ride through the changing hues of the dunes, witnessing one of the most spectacular sunsets nature has to offer. Arriving at your Sahara desert camp just before sunset, you will settle into your comfortable tent. As night falls, you will have the opportunity to climb one of the nearby dunes and admire the serene beauty of the desert. A sumptuous Moroccan dinner will be served under the dazzling canopy of stars. Get ready to unleash your inner drummer as you join the nomads around the fire for a rhythm session with their Tamtam drums. Take advantage of the nearby dunes, which offer a mesmerizing display of shooting stars and a crystal-clear view of the constellations. You will spend the night in your Sahara desert camp, ensuring a truly magical and unforgettable experience under the desert skies.
Start your day with an early morning camel ride to witness the breathtaking sunrise over Erg Chebbi. Afterwards, you will meet with your guide as you prepare to embark on the journey back to Marrakech. As we make our way through the fascinating volcanic landscapes of the Anti Atlas Mountains, our route takes us to the village of Nkob. In Ouarzazate, if you wish, feel free to request a stop at the Film Studios, where many cinematic masterpieces have come to life. Lunch will be free in the city center, giving you the opportunity to taste the local cuisine. In the early afternoon, our journey continues, taking us through the magnificent High Atlas Mountains and the picturesque Tizi Ntichka pass. Your memorable 3-day private desert adventure from Marrakech to Merzouga concludes mid-afternoon, when we drop you off at your hotel or riad.
