You will sense the desert approaching as the scenery changes dramatically. As the day comes to an end, we will reach Merzouga and spend the night in your lodge on the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes. Enjoy dinner and spend the night in your Merzouga lodge.

Afterwards, return to the main city and reunite with your driver to begin today's adventure. Our journey begins with a visit to the sacred city of Rissani, renowned as the birthplace of the dynasty that has ruled Morocco for generations. While in Rissani, you may want to explore the lively local date market, where you can discover the diverse and delicious varieties of dates that the Tafilalet region is famous for. The next stop on our itinerary is Tinghir, a city with rich history, which once served as a strategic military stronghold during the French occupation. Tinghir was also home to a thriving Berber Jewish community until the 1660s, when many of its members emigrated. As the day ends, we will continue our journey to Boumalne Dades, where you can enjoy a delicious dinner and spend the night in your chosen hotel.
Beyond Boumalne Dades lies the enchanting Rose Valley. If your trip aligns with the spring season, roll down your car window and let the fragrant essence of Damascus roses fill the air around you. Enjoy the opportunity to explore an authentic rose water distillery. From here, embark on the famous "Trail of a Thousand Kasbahs" which leads to the lush oasis of Skoura. Stroll to Kasbah Amridil, a beautifully preserved fortress that is a testament to Morocco's rich history. Today it has been transformed into a private museum, offering a fascinating window into Berber culture, architecture and ingenious irrigation techniques. An escorted tour of the Kasbah is a rewarding experience for those who wish to delve into the local heritage. Our journey continues to Ouarzazate, where we take a short break before reaching the iconic Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. This UNESCO World Heritage site is among Morocco's most famous monuments, celebrated for its distinctive earthen architecture.
